It's Not Your Fault

This research paper discusses found differences in MRI brain results between BID sufferers and non-BID sufferers.

This has given me a tremendous uplift in morale, and I have to keep telling myself mantras like "it's not your fault" and "it's a neurology problem" and "it's a sensory processing issue" (the last one isn't supported in the paper, but if it helps me, it might help one of you).

Yes, it cuts me to the core that not only would most doctors not even believe us, but that they'd assume we were delusional.

Research supporting that this is neurological are so important. We know we aren’t crazy. Our brains are simply wired differently. It would be so great to be taken seriously by those who could actually do something to help.
