Do you think you are a trans person? I think we can describe us as a trans person.

(Sorry if i got your question wrong, there might be a language barrier)

I am trans, in a way that I am transgender. I have transitioned into a male, and I am a male socially. As for body dysphoria around my limbs, I dont consider myself Trans in that way.

Some people use the term "transabled" to describe their desire for disability to be complete. I personally do not, and I dont care who uses it either. But for me, I dont feel "trans" is an accurate description for what I feel around my fingers. I dont feel like im transitioning into a disability. I feel like im finally settling into a body thats truly mine. For some, they would consider that a transition. I dont feel that way about it.

Many people use many different labels and descriptions for themselves. Its all up to the person.

My opinion is that itd be inaccurate to group the whole BID/BIID experience as "trans people" as the term itself is up to the person experiencing it. Not everyone will describe themselves that way, in fact, may be offended by it. But some will embrace the term, and be happy to call themselves it. It all depends on the person. Its not a collective experience after all, where as being transgender is more collective. If that makes sense. Some transgender people dont even use transgender either. Its just a broader umbrella term.

I consider myself transsexual but not transgender. I've always desired a body that's considered male or masculine by almost everyone, but I've never had any psychological need to play a specific role in society. Misgendering doesn't bother me because no matter what someone thinks I am, it's not correct, so there's no point. I think I transitioned primarily for sensory reasons... The physical experience of being in a testosterone-dominant system is just more pleasant to me and my body always kind of knew that. I knew exactly what I would look like on HRT and it was surprisingly spot on, it was like my character model finally matched the concept art. I imagine that whatever caused me to feel these ways about gender likely influences the BID, or vice versa. Similar but distinct experience from most other trans people.

Trapped in a painful space between barely having a leg to stand on, and having one too many.
